About Eileen...

    Aloha, welcome to my page. To start off I want to pray for the safe return of  my brother-in-law, Rick Thurston, who is headed off to Iraq March 1st, 2006. His is a marine out of 98 palms, California. I would like to express my gratitude for his sacrifice to serve our country.

    I grew up in Malibu, California. I moved to Hawaii in 1980, and never looked back. I have always loved the ocean and enjoy playing in it in many ways. Body boarding, surf kayaking, sailing and a little bodysurfing. I got a shoulder injury in late 2002 and still working on getting back into the ocean thing. This is good for Greg, when we go to the beach together, I am happy to stay on the beach and shoot pictures. How else would you see Greg? We have been married since June 2005, and been helping with the surf photography since 2002.

    I also take scenic pictures, with my Canon 35mm. and have twice won the photo contests at my school, (University of Hawaii, Leeward Community College), magazine, Harvest, for the Spring 2005 semester, (1st place), and Fall 2005 semester, (2nd place & honorable mention), editions.
