Costa Rica Accommodations...

As I said, we stayed at Alan and Kathy's B&B in Playa Grande right on the beach. Villa de la Roca. Over the years, they've been doing improvements to the property. To the left is Mariano. He's the guy running the job with two helpers. From carpentry to electrical, to plumbing, to masonry, these guys do it all. Interesting saw-tooth joints to make longer all teak beams for rafters that they can't get. Here's Mariano proudly holding the first, as far as I know, HSBA sticker in Costa Rica. The next day it was applied to his tank after he could clean the spot. We had one of the downstairs apartments facing the ocean. It had and small kitchenette, a sitting area, king size bed and a locking closet for security. Very comfortable!
