Travel...

I don't get to travel much, but here are recent trips off Oahu to Kauai, Big Island and back in May of 2006, International Travel with some photos from our honeymoon trip to Costa Rica.... I've finally have been to Lanai for a 2nd anniversary, but didn't get any surf.  Next should be Thanksgiving in Seattle area with family. Those are kept in my "Odds & Ends" page since the generally don't have any surf related images...

2007 Big Island Bodysurfing Championships

David, Steve, Doug, Tom, Eileen and myself went to the Big Island to attend this 10th Annual contest slated for Hapuna Beach. A one night stay since we had to back Sunday for the Pyramid Rock event.

2006 Kauai Surf Safari

Surf searching and good times to remember for a lifetime... With the hospitality of David and his family, my 5th year of going to Kauai for this annual event. It was another fantastic adventure!!!

Costa Rica Trip 2006

This is the only lifeguard stand I saw. Topped with the local roofing of palm frond. Playa Tamarindo has some surf, but mostly calm and have big beaches. Really fine sand and not as white as here in Hawaii. You could easily ride a bike along the beach since it was so compact. When the tide was out, it added about an extra 100 or so feet of beach.
